So I have been keeping a diary to look at my daily calorie intake over the past seven days and have found that on average I eat around 1700 calories per day. Not bad really. My real downfall is biscuits, apple crumble and Victorian sponge cakes which are ridiculously and unfairly calorific.
I have therefore come to the conclusion that If I do some exercise regularly I should be able to shift some weight. (wow what a shocker!!) At the moment the only exercise I get is a 5 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk from the station at the other end to my place of work. Then I am sitting down all day in front of a computer screen and answering the phone.
Time to start figuring out how to add more movement into my day, being realistic about what I will actually do as opposed to what I wish I could do. And maybe reduce my daily calorie intake – maybe…..

which food journal do you use (actually, why am I assuming you use an online journal?). I’ve been looking into it today and you would think I’m purchasing a car,…. heavy decision making.
Hi,
I don’t use an online journal. I am still old school and have a notebook that I tend to fill. I check online calorie counter sites to get the calorific content but that’s it. Sometimes there is just too much choice online so it is much easier to revert to the old faithful.
Good luck
