Blogging Challenge – Day 15

A Lazy Sunday Highlighted with Keyword Research

A day off from work means a lovely lie-in and a tasty full English breakfast.  After doing household chores like the laundry, I got some keyword research done and my other online jobs out of the way.

I am now enjoying Downton Abbey on the TV while I type this up. Gotta love a period drama!

Tasks Completed on Day Fifteen

  • My Latest Lens
  • Published My Book Review Post
  • Completed My Spanish Test

My Latest Squidoo Lens

I continued with my makeup theme with this lens and created one all about the Kabuki Makeup Brush.

I am enjoying this Squidoo creation project because I am learning new things and about new products every day.

I am happy to announce that I was able to complete this lens in 1 hour 20 minutes.  I am getting faster. Writing the content is quite quick, it is the cutting and pasting of the products that takes all the time and energy.

How Much Money Have I Made So Far?

Someone emailed to ask if I had made any money from the lenses that I have put together.

It has only been 15 days since I created the first one and it takes a bit of time to get your article or post onto the first page of Google.  I will write up a complete review of my Squidoo challenge when the 30 days are up.

In the meantime, I am happy to report that I have made two sales from two different Squidoo articles. One was through a Squdioo link and the other was through my own Amazon affiliate link.

I will talk commission levels at the end of the challenge but I am happy people have found these lenses and sales have been reported. I look forward to more soon.

Keyword Research Done for Next Collection

I am glad that I had time to do some keyword research for the next batch of articles.

This was fun and made really quick and easy by using Market Samurai.

If you haven’t got this tool, you should definitely think about making the one off investment.  It will save you lots of time.

My Latest Book Review Post

In a previous blog post, I mentioned that I had written a book review post for the book that I had recently finished. It is now live on my other website.

Let me know what you think.

My Spanish Level Test

I got a discount voucher for a Spanish language course and they sent me a Spanish level test.  This is to ensure that I am in the correct class.

The test was fairly straightforward, I think (?) and I have emailed it back to the school.  I hope to find out by the end of the week which class I should be able to attend so that I can get my Spanish on!

That’s all for today. :)
