Goodbye 2009 – Hello 2010

So we bid farewell to 2009 and welcome in 2010 and a new decade.

The past year hasn’t been a bad one for me.

I visited two different countries – Milan in Italy and Frankfurt in Germany
I reconnected with old friends
I attended a wonderful wedding
I read some great books
I saw some great movies
I went to some nice restaurants
I earned over £1,000 on the internet
I went on a date
I started doing some exercise
I still have a job that I enjoy most of the time
I have been able to tick a few things off my 101 list

Looking Forward To The Future

I want to tick more things off my list
I want to earn £1,000 per month on the internet
I want to visit Disneyland in Florida
I want to write a monologue
I want to just enjoy life.

I am looking forward to the challenges that will arise in this New Year.

A Short Review of November 09

The month of November has been a quiet one. There wasn’t too much to tick off my 101 list but I didn’t do too badly in my money making experiment.

I did manage to take a cheap weekend break away. I ended up in Bristol. Travelling by National Express Coaches made the trip really cheap and although the weather wasn’t great, it was nice to be out of London for a few days and we still had a good time.

I managed to visit the Bristol Museum, which a fascination art collection. We also stumbled across a graduation ceremony at Bristol Cathedral. This brought back memories of my own.

As it gets colder it gets harder to get motivated to continue with my exercise regime. At the moment my work schedule has also changed. This means that I have to be in much earlier than usual. This makes it doubly hard to get out of bed for my morning walk.

I want to be optimistic for December but as it gets colder, it gets harder to part with my bed and duvet cover.

The picture is of the lovely Stuart Manning who just got voted out of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here 09. He’s easy on the eyes, but a little bit dull. Ahhhh

What Did I Get Done In September 2009

Sometimes it is nice to sit back with my daily cuppa and reflect on the things I have managed to achieve. It is so easy to go through life feeling like nothing is happening and you are just standing still while everyone else is having a whale of a time.

So I just wanted to reflect on what I got up to in the month of September to remind myself that I am not stuck in a rut and I am trying to actively improve my well being.

I keep thinking that life is just too short so it is really important to do the things you really want to instead of just talking about them.

So I have my money making experiment site where I record all my making money online trials and tribulations so this one is where I record everything else.

I Went To Milan

One of my goals is to see new places and I got to visit Milan, Italy for the weekend with a bunch of my friends. Among other things we found 5 things to see in Milan as well as eat lots of good food, drink good wine and had a fab time.

I also realised that I had legitimate reasons to buy a cheap digital camera as we ended up doing the tourist thing without a camera between us. Luckily, due to the kindness of strangers, we did get to capture the memories. Good Times.

I Watched Sister Act The Musical – It Is Fantastic

My sister treated me to tickets to see Sister Act at the Palladium and it was absolutely fabulous. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who is looking for a really fun night out. The show is jammed packed with great singing, great dancing and a lot of laughs.

The main star is Patina Miller who plays the part that Whoopi Goldberg was in the film. The songs are different and it is set in the 1970s but this doesn’t matter because it is still great and that Patina girl can SANG! Shelia Hancock plays the Mother Superior and she has great comic timing.

If you can, get tickets for this show.

I have a couple of things that I would like to achieve for the month of October, including another weekend city break. Fingers crossed.

Goals For August 09 – A Review

The month of August has been filled with reading, researching and writing.

Due to my money making experiment, I have not been able to write very much here with regards to my 101 things to do in 1001 days. It is a good job that I have almost three years in which to try and achieve the goals I have set myself so I shouldn’t really feel too guilty. Plenty of time to get things done and it is not as if I have been sitting back on my laurels doing nothing.

I have written several articles on different articles sites where I hope that people will visit, find the information they are looking for and maybe buy something from one of my links.

I will continue with my money making goals as well as try to tick off a couple more things off my 101 list.

Things Ticked Off My 101 List This Month

Complete 30 Day Challenge 2009 – Done

The aim of this course was to learn how to find out if your money making idea could be successful. This 30 day free online course teaches you how to find good commercial keywords, how to choose and buy your own domain name and how to put together your own site and everything that that entails.

I am happy to report that I did all this, completed the task successfully and made a couple of sales. The site is currently ranked at number 14 out of 165,000 pages. Not bad. If I do a little more work, I should be able to get it into the top 10 so that it is on the first page of Google’s search engine.

The month of September will involve even more writing and hopefully more making money from nothing.

I got my orange cinema tickets and watched a couple of films this month including Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince as well as The Time Travellers Wife. Had to have picture of the gorgeous Eric Bana (sorry Daniel Radcliffe – but a girl needs a real man to look at)

Eric Bana is HOT HOT HOT!
