My 40th Year

This year I turned 40 so I wanted to record all the different achievements I make for the year.  I have already achieved so much but there is always more things to see, to do and to experience.  The old saying is “life begins at 40” so lets see what I can get done.

Time To Stop Watching Others Live Their Lives

I am the first to complain that I don’t do anything. I sit on the sofa happily watching other people living their lives.  I am a huge fan of the “Real Housewives” franchise and never miss an episode of these ladies living in Orange County, New York, Maimi or Beverly Hills. These are the ones that have been broadcast in the UK so far.  I love to see what they are wearing, where they are going and all great bars, restaurants and parties they frequent and I sit there watching with envy.

But this year is going to be different. Instead of watching others live their lives, I am going to get my own butt off the sofa and get out and explore.  There is so much to see and do and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

What Do I Want To Do?

In order to get things done, I need to decide what it is that I want to see and do.  This will take a little bit of research to find out what is on in London and beyond.  There are plenty of websites that provide great information and there are also some great bargains to be found.  I will need to learn the art of top notch networking so that I can meet interesting people who will also be able to provide great insight into new areas of interest.

I Love My Lists!

This will be a list of weekly achievements big and small. If it warrants a complete post, I will link to it from this page.  This should be a combination of travel achievements, money making activities and anything to do with my Lazy Girl Makeover Manifesto.
