A couple of days ago I read a blog about positive thinking and asking for what you desire. If you keep that positive thought in your head, then your request will come true.
No harm in trying this out, I thought, so I asked for a cheque to arrive in the post. I didn’t have a specific cheque or place of origin in mind, any old cheque from any old place would do.
I arrived home from work to find an envelope on my floor. I don’t know if you are like me but I always try to identify and guess what the content of my letters are, whether it is a bill, or another bank loan offer or even some bogus letter informing me that I have won money in the European Lottery!
I thought that it was most probably a bill but when I opened it I found that it was my yearly statement from my ISA account. I was overjoyed to find that over the past year I had earned £250 in interest. I hadn’t made any payments into this account at all so this was a very lovely tax free surprise.
I like to think that the power of positive thinking had something to do with this letter arriving on the same day that I asked for a cheque to arrive in the post. So I will try to keep positive thoughts flowing through my brain in the hopes of gaining more luck and good fortune.
Let me know if you have had any luck with the power of positive thinking. Thanks for stopping by.
