So Christmas Day has come and gone. I hope that you all have a very merry one and shared it with family, friends and beloved pets.
I was with my family and it was a raucous mess around the dinner table. Lots of eating, drinking, loud chatter and laughter was shared.
Then it was back to reality and work. Bah Humbug!
This is what I got done this weeek:
A New Squidoo Lens
The new lens is all about Valentine’s Day Decoration Ideas.
It includes things like Valentine’s flags, tablecloths, heart shaped cookie cutters and more.
It was fun to put together and I used Erica’s Squid Pro Quo product to create it.
Two New Squidoo Challenges
I have signed up for two different Squidoo challenges. This will be a great motivator and will help me to stay on track and create the lenses that I want to.
Squidoo Challenge No.1
The first challenge is over at Squidspro with Amanda at the helm. The aim is to produce at least one Lens per week and share it with the other challengers. This will also be a great opportunity to meet more people from the online community.
Squidoo Challenge No.2
The second challenge has been created by Britt Malka at Get Money Making Ideas. She has written a short ebook, available on Kindle, called Squick Money: 15 Minute Squidoo System. This book shows you how you can create a quick and simple Squidoo lens.
Britt is carrying out a case study where she will create 25 lens over 5 days and then monitor their earning potential. I haved jumped on board. Although I am not sure that I can manage 5 lenses per day, I know that I will be able to achieve the end number of 25 within the space of 3-4 weeks.
I am using a different account for this challenge so that I can monitor the effectivness of this type of lens building. Anything that involves less work is music to my ears, but it will be for nothing if I don’t make any money.
I will be writing up a review post once I have completed this challenge. If you would like to find out more about how to make money with Squidoo using Britt’s method,
That’s all for now. I am enjoying my day off today and I am free from work tomorrow also. This gives me ample time to come up with a good 2013 Plan of Action. Hurrah
Have Your Say: Have you signed up for any challenges lately? Do you see the merit in participating in one? I would love to know your thoughts.
