Squidoo Creations & Watching Jack Reacher
Today was filled with three tasks.
- The Squick Squidoo Challenge
- New Video for the Vlogging Challenge
- Going to the Cinema Challenge
The Squick Squidoo Challenge
Today I continued on with the Squick Squidoo Challenge.
I am so happy to report that I completed 5 lenses and the average time to put them together was around 18-20 minutes.
Britt Malka, who wrote this guide book and is running the case study/challenge, recommended creating all the templates at the same time and adding the modules.
I used Squidoo’s Amazon links this time, instead of using Squidcrafter. If the lenses start to show signs of positive money making potential, I can update them later.
Today’s lenses are as follows:
I also want to thank everyone who has taken the time to visit these lenses and given them some lens love. Thank you for the support.
New Video for the Vlogging Challenge – Day 19
Here’s the lastest video for this challenge. I am slowly working away, in order to get to video number 30.
Going to the Cinema Challenge
OK, this wasn’t really a challenge. I went to watch the new Tom Cruise film, Jack Reacher. The storyline was interesting but the film, not so much. It was a weird mixture of action film / thriller, with a little bit of odd sexual tension between Tom and Rosamund Pike’s lawyer character. There was the odd laugh to be had too but the whole thing felt like a Bourne Identity Lite movie.
The one advantage of watching this film is that I would be interested in picking up a copy of the book that it is based on. It felt like a lot of the story had to be squashed or eliminated in order to reduce the film length to an acceptable level. This could therefore be another reason why I felt that it was a little underwhelming. Great cast of people but a so-so end result.
Have Your Say: I would love to know what anyone else thought of the movie. Please share your thoughts below.
