Thinking, Thinking, Thinking
Today I spent a lot of time thinking about the future of my online endeavours. I think that it is a great idea to always be looking at what you do, in order to see where you can make changes.
I am enjoying this video challenge because it is making me face up to certain things that I may not have noticed quite so quickly.
If you have the benefit of a mentor or a life coach or someone similar then I am sure that you would always have the opportunity to assess and reassess your goals, your aims and your achievements.
I feel that talking out loud in front of the camera helps to initiate that process of assessing and making decisions or rather, it helps you to ask and answer the what now? or what next? questions.
This is certainly a lot of food for thought. While I ponder on, here’s what I got done today.
Tasks Completed Today
- A Summary Blog Post for Two Pretty Things.com
- Video for Day 8
A Summary Blog Post for Two Pretty Things.com
I had already written up a summary post about Purple Cowboy Boots & Other Women’s Boots . I just needed to upload it, add the images and links. This post was written to provide extra link juice to my boots related Squidoo lenses, as well as a direct Amazon affiliate link.
While I was on the site I added two new sidebar links. These were for products that seem to sell really on my site. I thought these extra links might help get more people over to Amazon. We shall see.
Video for Day 8
Here is today’s video. Now that I am getting a little braver, I feel the need to add more substance to my vlogs. I know that this will get easier once I have a properly defined direction or purpose. But for now, let’s just get used to chatting face to face eh.
That’s almost it for today. I found a really interesting blog where someone else had instigated a 30 day vlogging challenge. The instigator is an American wedding photographer called Tim King and he created a specific blog where he collected all the videos of all the people who participated in his challenge. This was done during the month of April 2012.
If you are looking for inspiration or you are just plain nosey, like me, Visit 30 Day Vlog Challenge.com to see the collection of videos.
Have Your Say: How are you doing with the challenge so far? Has it had an effect on the way you blog or feel and think about your online work? I would love for you to share your thoughts.
