We have just completed Week Fourteen of 2014. Where has the time gone?
This is a round-up of what I got done over the last few days. This is a great way to help keep myself accountable.
I keep going backwards and forwards over what it is that I really want to accomplish online. Still trying to work my way through it.
In the meantime, this is what I was able to get done last week.
I Wrote Every Day Last Week
A few weeks ago I set myself a mini-challenge. I wanted to see if I could write a little something on four different topics. Well that went so well, I thought that I would carry on, so I was able to write something each day from Monday to Friday.
Now I have stuff that I can use as future blog posts or put together to create kindle books. I look forward to making use of this content.
I Added a New Post To My Travel Blog
One of the posts from my writing challenge has been published on my travel blog Part Time Travels. I am going to start a teacher training course and I wrote a little bit about that. Here’s the link:
I Finished Reading My Latest Book
The book is called Don’t Blink by James Patterson. It is a murder, mystery, thriller. It was a great read, although it was a little gruesome at times. Some of the descriptions of the murders made me squirm.
I enjoyed the book, loved the ending and would thoroughly recommend it, if you like this style of writing.
I Am a Published Reviewer!
I am looking to do some more freelance writing so I thought it would be a great idea to get more experience and more external examples of my work. I signed up to review site called Remotegoat and had my first review published (Well, second really. The first was just a sample – tester).
This is an unpaid writing gig but the benefits are that I get complimentary tickets to films, plays, musicals and art events etc. I get to pick and choose the things that I would like to review. That isn’t such a bad deal is it?
Here is a link to my first review. I would love to know what you think.
This week I intend to continue writing daily. I want this to become a regular habit for a couple of reasons. The more that I write, the better my skills should become, and the more I write, the more content I will have for the different projects I want to work on.
I also want to get back to a regular writing and posting timetable. Hopefully by having more content written I will be able to get into the flow of scheduling posts on a more regular basis. Wish me luck
Have Your Say: Did you have a productive week? Are you happy with the content that you have produced? I would love for you to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
