This has been another joyous week for me. It really helps that the weather is great and that I have a schedule that is working for me.
Sometimes I get the things on my list done so quickly, I end up twiddling my thumbs, wondering what to do next.
I therefore do not feel guilty about surfing the inter-webs and I have the chance to discover new people, new websites and learn new lessons.
This is definitely a good place to be. Eventually I will most likely add a little more to my workload (well, we’ll see about that. Lol). Oh, wait a minute, I think I just did. Check out the video 😉
Here’s a round up of this week’s activities.
What I Got Done
- Recorded & uploaded this week’s video
- Wrote 3 posts for this blog
- Wrote 1 post for my travel blog
- Outlined an auto responder series
This Week’s Video
It was just getting dark as I taped this video but it is still a few hours earlier than I would normally do it. Hope you enjoy it
I Wrote 3 Blog Posts
The 3 blog post schedule is still working for me. It is good that I have a theme so I do not have to think too hard about what I am going to write.
One post is about the 90 Day Product Creation Challenge and what I am currently working on. One post is this round up of what I have been up to during the week and the third post is where I allow myself to be free to choose whatever topic I feel like addressing.
I have a nice list of things that I want to tackle. The general theme is about ways you can improve your blog, ways you can make money online and ways you can just get things done.
It is nice to go out and discover other people who are doing the same and who are also providing great examples of how we can achieve our own goals. I look forward to introducing you to the new people I have met online and the things that I have learned.
Here are this week’s posts:
- 90 Day Product Creation Challenge – Week Five – Creating The Product
- Female Vloggers on Youtube and Beyond
- The Post You Are Reading Now
I Wrote a Post for My Travel Blog
Last week I had the amazing opportunity to visit Number 10 Downing Street.
I wrote all about that particular adventure and I created a slide show and uploaded it to Slideshare.net.
This was a great opportunity to practice creating a slide show and I will be using this on future blog posts and opt in pages too.
You can upload a PDF file to Slideshare.net. It has to be under 100 MB in size otherwise it will not load.
Here’s the link to my post and slide show:
I Have Outlined an Autoresponder Series
I have so many ideas running through my mind at the moment. One of lessons that I am learning is that it is a very good idea to present information in a coherent way. One solution is to set up an auto responder series, which has a central theme.
This is a great way to work on building up your list and creating an even better community. This series will be based on the things that I have learned and am learning at the moment.
This means that I will be able to re-purpose some of my older blog posts and the PLR that I have purchased in the past.
I have been mapping out an idea and aim to get this series started fairly soon. The idea is to work on adding one email to my auto responder series per week, using good old Aweber to deliver all this good info.
The result – a stress free way of providing quality information, with the hope of earning money as an affiliate or with my own products as I get them done.
Gosh, darn it – I only went and bought a domain name! Actually I purchased three!!! I couldn’t help myself. lol I am excited about getting this new project started. Look out for a blog post about this new adventure
I think that it takes time to find a work schedule that suits you. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses so a system that works for me might not necessarily be a good fit for someone else. The most important factor is to ensure that you do not feel stressed out by what you are doing.
If something works for you, go for it. If something doesn’t feel quite right, then let it go and try a different method. That’s what I am constantly doing. I wouldn’t be surprised if my schedule changes over the next month and that will be down to discovering new ways of working that might suit me even better.
Never be afraid to change direction as long as you know where you want to end up. Hmm, I feel like it might be time to create a vision board……… 😉
