This past week consisted of a lot of writing, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have published 5 posts and written lots of other content too.
I have also just completed the first week of the first week of the 30 Day Facebook Fan Page Challenge.
I have not been as attentive as I should have been and that is because I am still sort of learning how to use the system. I get confused about whether I should be logged in as my personal profile or my fan page profile and how to interact on the site in general.
I am still figuring it all out and hope that this week will be a much better experience for me.
What I Got Done This Week
- Recorded and uploaded this week’s video
- Completed and published my free ebook
- Published 3 blog posts here

This Week’s Video Roundup
I am happy to still be in the habit of getting in front of the camera and just talking. Here is today’s effort.
I Completed and Published My New Free eBook
My free ebook is called How To Breathe Life into a PLR Business. Click that link to find out more.
I am so happy that I got this done. I had started writing it a while ago but I needed that final push in order to put the whole thing together. I love the process of creating these type of reports.
I like writing in the first person and sharing my own experience of trying stuff out. The words flow so much easier. I also like finding nice images to add and doing the formatting.
What I do not like is the proof-reading. Spelling mistakes can’t be helped but they are annoying, especially when you think you have caught them all, only to find that there is a big fat error on the very first page of your book – not a good start.
Anyway I got it done and it is free to download. You just need to enter your email address in the box at the end of this post. If you are already on my list you already have access. It is in the Free ebook section at the bottom of the email.
I Published 3 Blog Posts Here
I am still on schedule with my 3 posts a week routine. Yeah for me. This is definitely down to taking part in the 30 day list building and blogging challenge. That helped to motivate me to figure out a schedule that would suit me. Posting 3 days a week is working at the moment, which is great.
Here are the last 3 posts published this week:
- The 30 Day Facebook Fanpage Challenge – What’s it all About Alfie
- Free ebook – How To Breathe New Life into a PLR Business
- And this post that you are currently reading.
I Published a Blog Post on My Travel Site
I wrote about my trip to Istanbul, which was last year.
The post was so long, it had to be broken up into sections.
This week I posted part 2 of the series.
I Published a Blog Post on My Other Site
I think you might have noticed that I like to write about lots of different things that’s going on in my life. I like to share in the hopes that others are either entertained or informed.
Well on my blog, Two Pretty Things, I wrote a post about clothes shopping and my quest to improve my pitiful wardrobe collection. Take a look.
I Ordered My New Kindle Book Cover
I think I mentioned before that I have a few short stories written that are sitting on my hard drive. My aim was to get one of these suckers published before the end of this month and I am getting there. It is finished, the book cover has been ordered. I just need to proof-read it (sigh) and put it all together.
Once the book has been published, I will be doing a 3 day free promotion thing. Sign up to my newsletter to be the first to know when the book is free to download.
I am very excited about getting that book out but also a little scared. Scared in a good way though.
Would You Be Interested in a Kindle Book Case Study?
I feel another mini case study brewing, all about the process of getting from a few words on a page to a published short story on Amazon. Let me know if this would be of interest to you.
So, this week has been great. I got lots done without feeling overwhelmed or anxious. I have already thought about the posts I would like to write for the next week and I am feeling good. I can definitely say that for this week, I have definitely kicked Procrastination’s butt – good and hard. Wish me luck for next week.
