I have been away from my blog too long. I hate when that happens. But the good news is that I have not been completely idle.
I have been doing things, both online and offline.

I Have Been Writing Online
I have been writing stuff. I have posted micro-blog posts for the site Bubblews. My aim is to write enough to earn $50 per month. So far it has been working out well. The more mini posts that I add there, the less I need in order to get to that $50 target.
Here are a couple of examples of the posts I have written there:

I Have Been Writing Offline
I needed to find a way to figure out what I enjoy writing about. I decided to set myself a 10 Day Writing Challenge. I chose 4 topics and set the goal of writing 250 words for each topic. So far I have done 5 days worth of writing and have 5 more to go.
The topics I am writing about are:
- Making Money Online
- Travel Related Topics
- Weight Loss & Exercise
These are the things that are on my mind and that are going on in my life so I thought I would see if I could generate enough content that could be used for blog posts or for future books.
The writing is going well so far and I have some great stuff to use.
Fitness & Weight Loss Challenge
A blogger that I have been following forever has just set herself a new challenge and I am jumping on board, but doing things with my own twist.
Tiffany Lambert at Claiming My Power has set a 12 Week Fitness Challenge. She aims to lose around 2 pounds per week. I think that this is great. My own twist is that I am only aiming for 1 pound per week.
I am concentrating on upping my exercise level as opposed to cutting my food intake too radically. I like what I eat and do not think that my diet is too bad. At times I know that I eat too many biscuits, cakes, popcorn and I drink far too much Rose wine. Things have now changed 😉
I have cut back on those, replaced the tasty white baguettes that I love, with healthier salads and I am trying to drink more water.
I actually started my Get Fit Challenge at the beginning of the year. We are 12 weeks in and I am happy to report that I have lost 13 pounds. Hurrah for Me
So I am aiming to lose 12 pounds during this 12 week challenge. Are you with me?
So that is what I have been up to. I want to get back into blogging, I want to get back into working on new works of fiction, I want to get back into interacting with my fellow bloggers. But most of all, I want to enjoy life! Yippee
